The Hole

Ryan thought it would be fun for the boys if he dug them a hole in the backyard. (The one side of our house is just small gravel and dirt which we haven't figured out what to do with yet. Eventually it will hold our boat/trailer/ATV/RV.) So he got to work and dug a nice deep hole which proceeded to get deeper each time Hunter requested a bigger, deeper hole.
Those crazy kids played for HOURS with the dirt from that damn hole. Their monster trucks dug holes and made trails. They took PVC pipe and jabbed it into the dirt. And eventually they started throwing the clumps of dirt at the wall. To make it even better, while they were doing that they were singing Jingle Bells. Yup it's still Christmas at our house.

The hole definitely didn't get as much play time as the dirt did. I'm just waiting to see how long it takes for a kid to fall into the thing. Bets anyone?!

Ryan threw out the idea that they should turn the hole into a tunnel to the street. I guess that is the project for next weekend.
