Such a peaceful soul

And while Mom and Dad are away...

The boys will play! They spent the first couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa Lickman and are off to camp with Grandma and Grandpa Funk today.

While with G&G L the boys got to feed the ducks and have baths by candlelight. Seriously what is my mom thinking?!

Just in case you didn't know...

I'm in Tampa for the Super Bowl!!!! Thanks to my wonderful husband and his job we got to fly out here to go to the game to cheer on the Arizona Cardinals.

Ryan got here Wednesday and I joined him Thursday. We plan on drinking hanging out at night (he's working during the day) and then having so much fun at the game.

The boys are having fun with the Silly Grandma and Grandpa for the first part of the trip and then with the Motorhome Grandma and Grandpa for the last half. I'm sure I'll have tons of pictures to post of their adventures.

I plan on keeping our pictures to a minimum here, since this blog is about the boys and all, but will have tons of pictures on facebook!

T-ball in January!

Once again here is another example of why I love to live in Arizona, playing outside in January and it's actually hot! Remind me of this post when I am complaining in July about how freakin hot it is.

Anywho last weekend it was absolutely beautiful and a tad warm that the boys decided to play t-ball with no shirts. Of course Ryan wanted to be like them and off his shirt went. They had a game going whenever someone hit the ball they had to race around the bases before the other 2 got the ball to home plate.

Stretching his muscles like Daddy.
Hunter is rounding 2nd and Jacob and Ryan are going to run the ball back to homeplate. They found that catching just wasn't effective as usually a little boy wouldn't be paying attention and the ball wouldn't be caught.

Seriously?!?!

The boys were taking a break by the arcadia door in the kitchen from running races and this is what I heard come out of Hunter's mouth: "I'm going outside...to go potty."

WHAT??!! The child cannot walk the 20 or so feet to use the bathroom like a normal person?? Oh and I totally thought he was going to tell me he was going to play outside.

A free toy

We've discovered a new toy and it's free...ICE!! Yup plain old frozen water has kept my kids busy for a good 30 min and they're still going strong. We've had a bag of ice in our freezer for months taking up space. I figured since it's in the 70s today might as well let the boys have some fun. It's the perfect temp outside because the ice is slowly melting.

Here are some things the boys have learned to do with the ice:
*throw/chuck it on the ground to make it break
*try to stomp on it...didn't really work due to the pieces being huge
*writing on the sidewalk with them
*calling Indy to come lick it out of their hands
And the best one of them all...
*putting the ice down their pants!

A little parent in training

We've been having problems with Hunter and his attitude lately and I think what I'm saying is rubbing off on Jacob.

J: Go to your room Hunter
H: Nuh-uh
J: Mom, Hunter said Nuh-uh
M: Jacob you can't send Hunter to his room! You are not the Mommy.
J: But Hunter had another bad attitude...

We have a light rail!!

Well Phoenix has finally gotten with it and completed a Metro Light Rail. The boys and I got to ride it on Monday for my mother inlaw's birthday adventure for free to check it out. It was really really crowded, that's what free will get you, but we had a great time.
I thought it would be fun if the boys and I rode the rail again to get the real experience when you have to pay. So instead of driving straight to the Children's Museum, I thought we'd park and then ride the rail in. I felt like such a city person today! We rode and had to walk 5 blocks to get to the museum. After the museum the boys and I then rode the rail to Tempe and walked Mill Ave. They got some culture seeing all the crazy people there.

It's too bad we're a good 30 minutes from a park and ride because if we lived on that rail system, we'd be riding it every day. I'm such a fan of it!
