Hunter did it! He slept in his bed all night for 3 nights in a row!! Yay! We've been telling him that once he did that he could get a fish. He kept telling me that he wants a goldfish..."Like the snacks that we eat." Ryan and I tried to talk him out of a goldfish since they are so dirty but Hunter insisted. He picked out 2 great fish and since we can't do anything small or normal, he also got 2 sharks and 2 tiger barbs. Hunter LOVES his new fish. He's constantly asking if his fish like him. :) So far he's been really good about making sure they are fed. We've decided that he can earn new things for his tank periodically (more fish, plants, decorations). Hopefully we can keep up the sleeping all night in his own bed!

Utterly Exhausted
And amazingly it's not me who's exhausted! We had a full day of school and swimming at Pam's house. Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way home and stayed asleep when we got home. Jacob woke up at one point, ate some yogurt, and fell asleep in his chair watching TV. I woke Hunter up at 5 to bring him inside and he fell back asleep!

Have you seen my keys?
We went to the gym today and when I picked up the boys from the child care, Jacob had grabbed some keys. I told him good job for getting my keys. We walked all the way to our car and I looked down and realized I have my keys in my hand and Jacob still has the keys he picked up in child care!! While we were walking to the car I kept hearing the beeps of a car unlocking and it never occurred to me that it could be Jacob...lol. So I got the kids loaded and ran back in to drop of the random person's keys. Jacob and I had a nice talk about how he's not allowed to pick up keys anymore....lol. Thankfully no one was looking for their keys when I took them back!

Tackling--a favorite Funk pastime
Funny funny boys
Ryan found an old Nebraska jersey and a bandana and thought it would be funny to dress Hunter up. It was hilarious! At one point Hunter was pretending to be a pirate.
Jacob had to get in on the action too, so he got to wear an apron with the promise that he got to wear the bandana next.
Jacob's turn for the bandana! He got the swiffer mop all by himself. :)

Craft time today
So I decided the boys needed some good craft time today when Ryan was working. They LOVE putting random socks on their hands and playing with them so I figured sock puppets would be fun to make. They were both very serious when they were working on their creations. The glitter glue was a big hit and they loved making huge glops on their socks.

A Day out with Thomas
We got to ride Thomas this weekend! Thomas came up to Williams (about 30 min west of Flagstaff) so we drove up early Saturday morning for our train ride. The boys were so excited. The train ride itself was about 30 min...they loved looking out the window and dancing to the music that was played. After our train ride the boys got Harold the Helicopter tattoos, their picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt, and jumped in the bouncy houses. Lunch at McDonald's rounded out the fun afternoon. Grandma and Grandpa Funk were lucky enough to have their latest motor home trip end up in Williams at the same time so they got to spend the day with us. Some nice lady gave Grandma a ticket to ride on the train too!
