They were supposed to be sidewalk painting. Check out Jacob looking at Hunter...he was making sure that he was doing exactly what Hunter was doing.
Accounts of my life as a SAHM to 2 wonderful, active boys.

Hunter's fish that he caught...he was so proud!
This was Jacob's fish that he caught but he wouldn't hold the line...in steps big brother!
This is one of the first fish we caught.
Jacob is currently obsessed with stickers. He LOVES them and I am finding them all over the house, me, Hunter, Indy, etc. Right now he's putting them on Indy's head and thankfully she is letting him. Jacob likes to put them on my arm and will tell me that it won't hurt when he takes it off....ya right!

Now that the boys are sharing a room the amount of time it takes them to fall asleep has increased greatly. We like to look at it as brother bonding time as we hear them talking and giggling each night. The past couple of nights Hunter has been coming out to tell us that he can't sleep and here's his reason why:
Last night we went to the Monster Truck show at the Cardinal's Stadium with Simone and Owen. It was quite an experience! We got there around 4:45 to
walk the floor to see the trucks. I think the dinosaur one was the favorite of all 3 boys. We now know the names of some monster trucks...Bigfoot, Jurassic Attack, Predator, Maniac, etc. We are true fans! The show wasn't supposed to start until 7:30 so we went up to our seats and Owen promptly passed out! There was stuff going on on the floor and he could care less. The trucks didn't start racing until 8 or so but the boys did really good waiting. Once the trucks started racing it got loud and the boys liked it. Hunter has said he wants to be a monster truck driver when he grows up. By 9:00 everyone was done and they hadn't even gotten to the free style portion (where I think they smash cars and stuff...that's what Simone and I wanted to see!). Amazingly no one fell asleep on the way home but the boys (well at least Hunter and Jacob) slept until 7:45 this morning!

Wow it's been awhile since I've updated her! Well the biggest update is that the boys got bunk beds a couple of weeks ago (thank you Grandma and Grandpa Funk!). Since the boys are sharing a room now bunk beds make the most sense space wise for them...there is a dresser on one side and shelves on the other. Hunter and Jacob LOVE them. Hunter is on the top and thinks it's the coolest place ever and sleeps really well in his new bed. I wasn't ready for Jacob to sleep in a regular bed yet so we took apart the bottom bed and rolled his crib underneath so he still gets to feel like a big kid.
