A day with G.G.

We drove out to see G.G. today to have lunch with her. The boys love going over to her house. G.G. has a great backyard with beautiful flowers and a bird area. The boys get a kick out of all of the birds and love to help feed them. Grandma put them on pigeon watch and so every 2 minutes they had to go see if there were pigeons.
Checking out the birds from inside.
Some of G.G.'s beautiful flowers in her garden.
Jacob said this one looks like a mint! I think he eats way too many of these from Sonic.

Petting Zoo at School!

Hunter and his class have been working hard on a farm unit for the past couple of weeks. To conclude the unit, the teachers got a petting zoo to come for the Kindergartners. There were piglets, baby goats, chickens, rabbits, a duck, a goose (and a partridge and a pear tree!). The kids loved getting right in the cage to get up close and personal with the cute animals. Sadly the chickens and duck didn't get too much attention.

Wildlife World Zoo with Jacob

Jacob's preschool went on a field trip to the Wildlife World Zoo last week. Despite the fact that it was freezing we had a good time. He's been there so much that he just breezes by the animals, instead of really checking them out.

Sunday Fun

Which is better? Looking at how much our house has gone down in value in the 3 years we've lived here OR Looking at how much house we could buy for so little.

I'm crawling out from under my rock

Hi...remember me? Yup I am still alive and kicking. My poor little blog has gone by the wayside these last few months but it's time to get back to blogging! So be ready to be bogged down with old posts just so I can catch up and my children will know that we did celebrate Halloween, Hunter's birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas during 2009.
